SUMMARY:Forwards skills camp
DESCRIPTION:All ruggers welcome.\n\n\n\nAs Spring Season kicks off we are having an impromptu Forwards Camp. If you are a forwards player from a College or Men’s Club and want to get back in the swing of things please join us. All players are welcome. \n\n\n\nThe Camp would be a stations approach and players would be grouped in comparative size and ability. Stations would include: \n\n\n\nSet Piece• Scrums• Line outs \n\n\n\nLoose Piece• Rucking Offensive and Defending• Mauling Offensive and Defending \n\n\n\nTransitions to open play and open play• Exit Process• Develop phase play mods/pods/communication• Attack Offensive and Defending• Tackling• Turnover and Counter attack \n\n\n\nThe goal of this camp is technique\, tactics\, stability\, safety\, positioning\, power and fun. We feel this is a good start and best practices can be shared to improve everyone’s game. We already have solid responses from a few clubs and hope more can join. \n\n\n\nAny questions please contact Patrick Sharpe.
