Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee Barbarians Athletic Club are proud to announce their upcoming 2015 rugby bootcamp.
The camp is a series of clinics designed to introduce the sport of rugby union football to athletes in the greater Milwaukee region.
It consists of three training sessions culminating in a scrimmage with the existing club members and a social event as follows:
- Tuesday, Aug 11, 6-8PM, Old Milwaukee Gun Club
- Thursday, Aug 13, 6-8PM, Old Milwaukee Gun Club
- Saturday, Aug 15, 11AM-3PM, Zablocki Park
All attendees will receive a free team shirt and complimentary food and beverages at the social.
Anyone interested in attending the bootcamp should complete the sign-up form.
About the Milwaukee Barbarians
The Barbarians or 'Babas' is the premier club for rugby union in the state of Wisconsin and was formed in 2012 through a strategic partnership between two local teams. As a member of USA Rugby, the Milwaukee rugby team compete at the highest level by fielding a Division 1 team in the Midwest regional competition.
The Barbarians also field a Division 3 team in the local Wisconsin-Illinois conference.
The Barbarians train and play their home games at Zablocki Park located at 3717 W Howard Ave, Greenfield, WI 53221.
