Another trip to the plush fields of Miller Meadows, in scenic Maywood Illinois. Once again featuring the lovely weather we’ve come to know and love.
This time Mother Nature decided to feature temperatures in the low 40’s and a steady rain, making a lovely day for players and spectators alike. I’m allowed to use ‘spectators’ plural, since we did have two non-players who braved the weather to cheer on the team.
Only one game was played, which started half an hour early, with the Condors clinical across the park to take the win 44-8.
Almost immediately after the final whistle, everyone hopped in their cars to take off for the bar where plenty of refreshing bottles of Fosters awaited.
