Club co-founder “Papa Joe” Kloiber was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2009. Joe lost his long battle with Parkinson’s in 2024.
The Wisconsin Parkinson Association is dedicated expanding awareness and understanding about Parkinson disease. It was a tremendous help with Papa Joe and his family for a quarter century.
To honor Papa Joe, and to help other Parkinson’s patients, the Milwaukee Barbarians hold an annual golf fundraiser (register here) benefiting the Wisconsin Parkinson Association. Since 2015, over $20,000 has been donated.
