The Milwaukee Harlequins successfully defended their title as Harborfest Champions this past weekend in Kenosha, WI. After going undefeated in the morning round robin, the Quins defeated Milwaukee Black and Blue in the semi’s and advanced to the final to face of against a young, fast Muskego squad.
The hard hitting and relentless defense signature to the Harlequins stood out against the Muskego squad that seemed to never stop attacking. Jeff Noe capped off the victory with a 22-meter run late in the 2nd half for a 19-12 victory.
Nate Olson took home the Harborfest MVP award which has been re-named in honor of Phillippe “Fiji” Leka who was the Harborfest MVP last year.
