Wisconsin Brewing Company sponsors Milwaukee Rugby.

The Milwaukee Barbarians Athletic Club is proud announce the Wisconsin Brewing Company will be a major sponsor beginning spring 2014.

The Wisconsin Brewing Company was founded by brothers Carl and Mark Nolen and brewmaster Kirby Nelson who combined have over a half century of brewing experience. They set out to craft beers for people who love beer while simultaneously honoring the rich brewing heritage of Wisconsin.

The broke ground on their new brewery in Verona, Wisconsin in January 2013 and they were operational just 10 months later. Despite their recent start, however, WBC beers are quickly becoming fan favorites and we are fortunate that they have built a state of the art facility that can handle the rapid growth.

The Barbarians are honored to be supported by WBC, and we believe both organizations will flourish with this alignment. WBC products will be featured at all team events and socials, and WBC will be the official beer sponsor of the Lakefront 7s tournament, the largest 7s tournament in the Midwest.

In honor of the new partnership, new team uniforms will be ordered soon and kit for players and supporters will be made available in the near future.

We will proudly wear the WBC logo on our uniforms, and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.

WBC has a stable of products available, all well tested and appreciated by consumers throughout the state, and many are available at your retail stores and drinking establishments.

If they are not, ask for them by name!
