The Milwaukee Barbarians have launched their 2024 fundraising campaign and have released the gifts associated with each fundraising tier.
The campaign, which runs through February 29, is a membership drive. By becoming a “sustaining member”, you directly support local rugby programs and facilities.
Importantly, 50% of every donation is allocated to developing a permanent rugby facility in Milwaukee.

A gift for every membership tier
As an incentive for the 2024 campaign, everyone who signs up for, or maintains an existing sustaining membership by February 29 will receive a free gift.
Anyone upgrading their existing membership level by that date would be eligible for the higher gift.

Exclusive design honoring Papa Joe
The perks for the 2024 membership drive feature an exclusive design. The primary element is an inspired, round logo with classic barbarian hammers and “Old Boys Rugby” tagline.
Each perk also features the membership tier and pays tribute to “Papa Joe” Kloiber who passed earlier this year.
Below you can review each of the elements in detail. In this example, we’re showing the Sustaining Supporter tier, but similar elements are used for the Partner and Patron tiers.
More for your donation
Each membership tier is tax-deductible as the donations are made to our tax-exempt non-profit SCRUM. Other perks are included with the memberships such as:
- Recognition on the club’s sponsors and supporters page.
- Post-match refreshments at home games.
- A club email account. Eg: [email protected]
- Facility fees for indoor rugby during the winter months.
- An SEO-enhancing link from the Barbarians website to your business website.
