Today Fox Cities defeated the Barbarians 38-12. Although the Barbarians played excellent defense and tackled very well early on, they were worn down by Fox Cities stable and consistent play. Fox Cities clearly all knew their roles and game plan.
On the other side of the ball, the Barbarians struggled to find consistency on offense and turned the ball over when they did.
Of note were the excellent individual tries by Matzke and Chase Johnson. And of course congrats to debutante Sam Boeyen for winning “Man of the Match” honors.
