Peter Shaw

Peter Shaw is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist who fell in love with rugby football playing for the Haverford College Rugby Football Club, the Angry Young Newts. He played one season for the University College Rugby Club 1st XV while in college where his debut match was as a second row against the London Metropolitan Police Team and lived to tell the tale. He then founded and captained the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Rugby Football Club which had a winning record in the New York Professional Schools league in the early 1990’s. Peter went on to be an old boy for the Pittsburgh Harlequins where he did youth coaching. He later did youth coaching for the Tampa Bay Krewe for several years before moving to Milwaukee in 2022 and becoming a proud Barbarians Old Boy.
