Milwaukee second XV wins season-opening exhibition match against MRFC.

The Milwaukee Barbarians kicked off the spring leg of the 2014-2015 season with the Second XV — the club’s Division 3 side — playing a four-by-twenty-minute round robin against the Fond Du Lac Wolfpac and MRFC.

Milwaukee Rugby stuck to the stingy defense that highlighted the Autumn leg of the season. In the two periods versus MRFC, the Barbarians accumulated 17 points with 5-0 and 12-0 shutouts respectively.

The Division 3 side also played Fond du Lac in the same round robin.

The next match for the 6-0-0 Barbarians is the Spring league opener on April 11th against Green Bay who are also 6-0-0. The winner of this match is expected to take the 1st seed in the playoffs.
