Milwaukee rugby heads to Division 3 playoffs with 7-1-0 regular season record.

The Milwaukee Barbarians today defeated the Oconomowoc Rugby Club with a score of 36-29.

Although the Division 3 Milwaukee rugby team were up early, they let the gas off the peddle late in the and allowed the score to narrow.

In fact, the close score earned a bonus point for the home team Oconomowoc. As the final regular season match, Oconomowoc finish the 2014-2015 campaign with a 5-3-1 record.

For the Barbarians, the result is a return to their winning ways to close out a 7-1-0 season on a positive note.

The win also sends the Barbarians into the post-season as the second seed in the Northern Wisconsin-Chicago conference. They face the first seed in the Southern conference, the Fox Valley Maoris who have a perfect 8-0-0 record.
