Barbarians push to 5-0 record as division 3 season approaches winter break.

The Milwaukee Barbarians move to the top of the Division 3 standings in the Northern Wisconsin/CARFU conference with a comprehensive victory at home this past weekend.

The Wolfpac (Fond du Lac, WI) visited Milwaukee in a 1-sided affair with the Barbarians posting 14 tries including a hat-trick for Fullback Wes Seay and a double for Winger Darrin Shafer.

Scrumhalf and Captain Steve Drobot was efficient with the boot slotting 9 conversions to lead the team with 18 points.

At the final whistle, the score was 88-0 for the Barbarians. The win marks the 5th consecutive bonus-point victory for the Barbarians this season and with 25 points they lead the conference.

Challenges Ahead

The team will be pushed in the coming weeks as they face their toughest challenges of the season before the winter break.

On Saturday they face cross-town rivals MRFC (4-0-0 record). The match is technically an away game for the Barbarians but will be played in Milwaukee.

Next week they face the Maoris (Fox Valley, IL) — another undefeated team with a 5-0 record — at home in the first of two crossover matches with the Southern Conference.

The Maoris are at the top of their table with a whopping 402 +/- and scoring an average of 91 points per match.
