Men’s Division 3 Midwest playoffs set Waverly, IA and Grand Rapids, MI.

With all the regular season matches now complete in the Midwest competitive region, the playoff picture for Division 3 Men’s rugby is finally clear.

The Bremer County Bucks (Waverly, IA) claimed the top seed in the Western conference. With home field advantage, they will host both conference semi-finals on Saturday, April 30: Bucks v Barbarians (Milwaukee, WI, #4 seed) as well as Maoris (St. Charles, IL, #2 seed) v MRFC (Milwaukee, WI, #3 seed).

The winners of each match will advance to the Western Conference final, also hosted by the Bucks on Sunday, May 1.

On the other side of the bracket, the Gazelles (Grand Rapids, MI, #1 seed) will host the Eastern Conference semi-finals: they take on the Rovers (Cleveland, OH, #4 seed) while the Castaways (Columbus, OH) face off against Fort Wayne (Fort Wayne, IN).

The champions from each conference will head to Chicago, IL to compete in the Midwest finals on Saturday, May 7.

He has played for and started numerous clubs (Vandal's RFC, Strathcona Druids, Suffolk Bull Moose, Westside Harlequins, Milwaukee Barbarians, Hamilton Girls Rugby), and served many roles over the years at all administrative levels. Vic joined the Harlequins in 2007 and remained an active club member through the transition to the Barbarians.
