Barbarians traveling to New Orleans to face local rugby team.

The Milwaukee Barbarians head south again for their annual Spring Tour to face the New Orleans Rugby Football Club (NOLA Rugby).

NOLA Rugby — who have recently partnered with the professional rugby startup NOLA GOLD — hosts the Milwaukee rugby team on February 3rd at 1PM.

The trip offers an excellent opportunity to warm up for spring rugby, play against strong competition outside of the Midwest competitive region, and offers plenty of time for team building.

In prior years the Milwaukee Barbarians have entered social tournaments to warm up for the spring season. But this year, thanks to an invitation from Wisconsin native and Muskego alumnus Ryan Fitzgerald, the Barbarians get to take on former DII National champions NOLA Rugby. Fitzgerald is currently General Manager/Director of Rugby- NOLA GOLD Major League Rugby Club.
