The Milwaukee Barbarians are excited to share that Ty Ash (President), Jared Abt (Club Secretary), and Collin DeOcampo (Player at Large) were each re-elected at the Annual General Meeting to new two-year terms as club officers.
That means all three will now be serving their third consecutive term in these roles — a real testament to their commitment to the club and the work they continue to put in behind the scenes.
Leadership like this matters.
Clubs are strongest when they have people willing to step up, stay involved, and help carry things forward year after year. From organization and communication to planning and player support, experienced officers help keep things steady and help make sure the club continues to grow.
A focus on continuity.
The Barbarians’ system of staggered elections and two-year terms is built with that in mind. By splitting elections into groups of three and two, the club avoids having too much turnover at once.
That creates more stability, helps preserve institutional knowledge, and makes leadership transitions smoother over time.
It is a simple structure, but an important one — and it helps ensure the club keeps building on what came before instead of having to start fresh every cycle.
Next election.
The next election cycle will take place in 2027, when the club will vote on the Treasurer and Director of Rugby positions.
Congratulations to Ty Ash, Jared Abt, and Collin DeOcampo on their re-election, and thank you for continuing to serve the Milwaukee Barbarians.
